Why I changed the way I live and the way I eat.
I have always been relatively slim and active but after I had my daughter things changed. As most mothers might sympathise, I never had time for myself, my time was consumed by making sure my daughter was taking care of.
Two years ago I celebrated a biggish birthday and that is when I decided to start looking after me again. I now train between five to six times a week, I make time to make healthy food and snacks and well, my daughter loves running with me every now and then. She also comes to the gym with me when she is not in school. That hour I train is important to me, it’s about me, it’s what I love doing, it’s what I need to do.
